Physical-biogeochemical coupling at the coastal interface
Clément BERTIN (2019-2023)
Postdoctoral researcher at NASA-Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), USA
Clément's research is centered on understanding the fate of terrestrial organic matter in the Arctic Ocean's coastal waters. He employs the ECCO-Darwin ocean-sea ice-biogeochemical model to investigate how terrestrial inputs from rivers, coastal erosion, and glacier discharge impact the marine carbon cycle and the air-sea CO2 fluxes.
